Welcome to Elite Shine, your trusted provider of high-quality car detailing and valeting services. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking any services. By using our services, you agree to comply with the terms outlined below.

1. General Terms
1.1 Agreement: By booking a service with Elite Shine, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
1.2 Service Availability: Our services are available based on appointment availability and may be subject to weather conditions. We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel bookings due to extreme weather or unforeseen circumstances. We also require an accessible hose/outdoor tap in the accessible location to where your car is positioned.

1.3 Right to Refuse Service: We reserve the right to refuse service to any customer if we believe the vehicle is unsafe to work on, contains hazardous materials, or if inappropriate behavior is exhibited.
1.4 Pricing and Payments All prices are subject to change without prior notice. Payments must be made in full upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed. We accept cash, and PayPal transactions.

2. Bookings and Cancellations
2.1 Booking Process: Appointments can be made via our website, phone, or in person. We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time slot.
2.2 Deposit Requirement: Services may require a deposit to confirm the booking. Deposits are non-refundable unless the cancellation meets the refund conditions outlined below.
2.3 Cancellations and Rescheduling: Customers must provide at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee of 50% of the service cost.
2.4 No-Show Policy: If a customer fails to attend their scheduled appointment without prior notice, a full-service charge may be applied.

3. Service Details and Limitations
3.1 Vehicle Condition: Our detailing services are designed for standard vehicles in regular condition. If your vehicle requires additional work due to excessive dirt, pet hair, stains, or damage, additional fees may apply.

3.1.1 Excessive Dirt & Additional Time Charges: All bookings are based on an estimated service time, as listed (e.g. 2 hours). If the condition of the vehicle includes excessive dirt, pet hair, staining, or other factors that significantly extend the job beyond normal expectations, additional time may be required. A 15-minute grace period is included; however, any time spent beyond this will incur an extra charge of £2 for every additional 10 minutes. We will always aim to complete work within the scheduled time, but quality will not be compromised for speed.
3.2 Service times are approximate and may vary based on the condition and size of the vehicle. We strive to complete services within the estimated timeframe but cannot guarantee exact completion times.
3.3 Personal Belongings: Customers are advised to remove all valuables from their vehicle before the service. We are not responsible for any lost or misplaced items. For all interior detailing services, customers are required to remove personal items and obstructions from the vehicle before the appointment. This includes, but is not limited to, items in the footwells, seats, door pockets, and boot. If areas are obstructed and not cleared, they may be skipped during the service. If you would like us to remove items ourselves, this may incur an additional charge depending on the time and effort required.
3.4 Satisfaction Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with our service, please notify us within 24 hours of completion. We will assess the concern and, if necessary, provide a touch-up service at no additional cost.

4. Liability and Damages
4.1 Damage Disclaimer: While we take extreme care in handling vehicles, Elite Shine is not liable for pre-existing damages, paint defects, or issues caused by wear and tear.
4.2 Liability Limitation: Our liability is limited to the cost of the service performed. Under no circumstances shall we be responsible for consequential damages, loss of use, or loss of income due to vehicle maintenance delays.
4.3 Customer Responsibility: Customers must inform us of any special care requirements or existing damage before the service begins.
4.4 Photographic Evidence: We may take before-and-after photos of vehicles for quality assurance purposes. These may be used for marketing unless the customer requests otherwise.

5. Refunds and Complaints
5.1 Refund Policy: Refunds are not provided once a service has been completed unless there is a justifiable issue with the service quality. Any refund requests must be submitted in writing within 48 hours of service completion. ( Full refund policy )
5.2 Complaint Procedure: If you have any concerns about the service, please contact us immediately. We will assess the complaint and take appropriate action, which may include a re-cleaning or a partial refund at our discretion.

6. Subscription and Package Terms
6.1 Subscription Packages: Customers who purchase subscription-based services (such as the Elite Package) agree to a recurring payment plan. Payments must be made as scheduled, and cancellation requires one month's notice.
6.2 Package Expiry: Prepaid packages (e.g., Express Shine 5-Pack) must be used within 6 months of purchase. Unused services will not be refunded.
6.3 Referral Discounts: Discounts for referring a friend are only applicable if the referred individual completes a service. Discounts cannot be stacked or combined with other promotions.​.

7. Legal and Privacy Policies
7.1 Privacy Policy: We collect customer information solely for booking and service purposes. Your data will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
7.2 Changes to Terms: We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services implies acceptance of the revised terms.
7.3 Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions are governed by UK law, and any disputes will be resolved in accordance with UK legal regulations.

Service Area & Additional Charges
At this time, Elite Shine Pro operates exclusively within the Reading area. Bookings made within this region will follow our standard pricing.
If you are located outside of Reading, you must contact us prior to booking to confirm availability. A surcharge will applyfor the additional travel distance, which will be calculated based on the location and agreed upon before confirming the appointment.
Elite Shine Pro reserves the right to cancel bookings made outside of Reading if prior contact has not been made, or if the additional surcharge is not agreed upon.
